Working experience and occupation

He started his career as an auditor before moving onto ICT Consultancy specialising in Systems Implementation & Integration in DRB-HICOM Group. He was instrumental in the implementation of the SAP R/3 Solution in the Group especially in Usahasama Proton-DRB Sdn Bhd (USPD) (currently known as Proton Edar Sdn Bhd) involving more than 60 offices, sales & service branches in the country. He also served as Project Director for MSC Telehealth Flagship, working closely with Multimedia Development Corporation and Ministry of Health. He then joined SCAN Association Berhad ("SCAN") in July 2003 and was instrumental in streamlining the business processes and the operation of the Group. Prior to his appointment in SCAN, he was also involved and served in various strategic initiatives at national level including the Open Source Initiative for Malaysian Public Sector. He serves as member of the Board of Directors of few other private limited companies in Malaysia. He also serves as the Certification Advisory Council Member in SIRIM, Knowledge Worker Consultative Member in Multimedia Development Corporation and Government Relation Committee Member in PIKOM.
