We refer to the announcements of the Company dated 8 October 2009, 6 November 2009 and 5 January 2010 in relation to the Proposals. On behalf of the Board of Directors of SCAN Associates Berhad, MIMB Investment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that an application in relation to the withdrawal of listing by SCAN from the official list of ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) pursuant to the Proposed Transfer and a listing application of SCAN Corporation Berhad, a newly incorporated company which will assume the listing status of SCAN Associates Berhad upon completion of the Proposed Transfer, have been submitted to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad for its approval on 12 January 2010.
